At A2.1 level, a learner can describe daily life and personal experiences in greater detail using past, present, and future tenses.
With a broader vocabulary, they can communicate independently on topics such as travel, health, shopping, food, and city life.
They can produce simple stories, emails, and short presentations, and they deepen their knowledge of the cultures of German-speaking countries.
Course General Objective A2.2
By the end of the course, learners can express themselves confidently in past, present, and future tenses (Präsens, Perfekt, Präteritum—especially with sein/haben and modal verbs, plus Futur I or Präsens with time expressions), as well as use Plusquamperfekt and the basics of the Konjunktiv (especially Konjunktiv II for wishes, polite requests, and hypothetical situations).
They can conduct fluent, connected conversations beyond everyday topics, including areas like work, travel, environment, and media, while stating intentions, opinions, and simple reasons, and responding appropriately to follow-up questions.
With an active vocabulary of about 700–900 words, learners are able to convey ideas more clearly and write short texts, narratives, and simple argumentative paragraphs.
The course equips learners with the necessary language skills to transition to B1 level.
